Craid David


Craig "Ashley" David, born in Southampton, Hampshire in England in May 1981, starting from very young to get involved in music. Adolescence composed his first song, inspired by hip-hop, the funk, and musical styles and artists as typically urban Terence Trent D'Arby, Sisqo and Donell Jones. Held its first concerts in night clubs, where he first met with Mark Hill, a member of the Artful Dodger. His big break occurs when the Artful Dodger to invite a mixture of a theme. Once the Human League requested the loan from the British musician, to a new mixture. Along with Hill, Craig becomes responsible for a radio program on Capital Radio, which takes place at the evidence and his musical genius. In 2000 launched the single "Fill Me In" and get huge success, quickly reaching the top of the tables. Craig then becomes the youngest British male artist to achieve a first place in the parades. Craig then launches his debut album to "Born To Do It", which joins the first stops in the UK, including the singles "Rewind" and "7 Days", coming to gold, platinum and multi platinum in twenty countries around the world. The disc, is an eclectic fusion of R & B, pop, soul and hip-hop. Added to this end, Craig achievement, yet in 2000, three MOBO awards (such as Revelation, Best R & B Performance and Best Single of Britain with "Fill Me In"). But not everything went well, as it came up empty handed in the Brit Awards in February 2001, being nominated for 6 awards including "Best British Solo Artist", "Best British Revelation," "Best UK Single" for "7days" among others. The music industry then do not like Elton John, U2 and Robbie Williams came in defense of Craig. Even without awards, their records continued to be successful selling. It is also with "Born To Do It" to Missy Elliott, Beyoncé and Usher fans take to be Craig. The following year, in November 2002 Craig arrives with "Slick Than Your Average" with the debut single from "What's Your Flava?" Which becomes one of the most exciting of the year.
